Meridith L. Hayes has represented Texas schools, including public schools, private schools and junior colleges, since graduating from The University of Texas School of Law in 2004. Meridith works closely with public entities to advise on a range of issues from employment matters and student discipline to facilities & business. Her representation includes managing general administration matters, representing clients in administrative hearings and investigations, Open Meetings Act compliance and responding to public information requests. She also has given several speeches regarding relevant legal topics at Region 10, school district in-services, and local seminars. Meridith earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with University honors from the University of Texas in 2001. Meridith is licensed to practice in all Texas and Arizona state courts, is a member of several bar associations and a member of the Texas Council of School Attorneys.
