Evelyn Howard-Hand has over thirty years of experience in the field of special education and twenty-five years of experience in litigation.  Evelyn began her career teaching hearing impaired and multiply disabled students, then attended the University of Texas School of Law, and later served on the Lake Travis ISD Board of Trustees.  Licensed in both Texas and New Mexico, Evelyn has combined her experience and training to help school administrators develop solid procedures and practices to successfully navigate Response to Intervention, Section 504, and the IDEA on both a day-to-day and long-range basis. Evelyn has successfully represented districts in all aspects of disability related complaints and litigation from due process hearings through federal court appeals.
