Elizabeth G. Neally, a shareholder in the firm who has been practicing school law in the Rio Grande Valley since 1986, opened the McAllen office for Walsh Anderson serving south Texas. Elizabeth is now officed in our San Antonio office. After graduating from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1986, where she interned with the Illinois Association of School Boards, Ms. Neally began representing school districts and other governmental entities throughout south Texas as litigation and general counsel. In doing so, she has continued her focus on assisting districts in areas including employment, civil rights, contracts, student and liability issues as well as training of board members, administrators and staff. She is a member of the Council of School Attorneys, School Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and approved as counsel for the Texas Association of School Boards. Ms. Neally is licensed to practice law in the district and county courts of Texas as well as for the U.S. Southern District of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Neally works in the firm’s San Antonio office, where her practice focuses on employment law, governance, transactions, contracts, litigation and student issues.
