Charlotte Salter, an associate of the firm, is a 1986 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. Ms. Salter has litigated a wide variety of cases including medical malpractice, personal injury, construction defects, products liability, workers’ compensation, and insurance coverage. She has tried a number of cases to conclusion before juries and before the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH). Ms. Salter has extensive experience representing carriers in workers' compensation matters. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Salter received a Bachelor of Science with High Honors in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Salter received the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association and she practiced as a speech language pathologist in public school and in private settings for ten years prior to attending law school. Ms. Salter became an associate of the firm in 2007. She is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and the education and administrative law sections of the State Bar of Texas. Her practice emphasizes representing school districts in the area of special education.
