Jenny Wells is a 2006 graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where she served as Editor of the Law Journal and graduated with highest honors. While in law school, Ms. Wells focused on client-centered advocacy through her work with the Juvenile Public Defender and the Elder Law & Advocacy Center. Following law school, Ms. Wells continued to develop a client-driven practice. She developed and edited legal practice guides for the widely-used O’Connor’s series of law manuals. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Wells served as an Assistant Attorney General, successfully defending Texas state agencies and employees in civil lawsuits in both state and federal courts, including the Fifth Circuit. Ms. Wells received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Laws in Taxation from the University of Houston Law Center. She is licensed to practice law in both Texas and California.

Ms. Wells works out of the Austin office and her practice emphasizes representing school districts in the area of special education.
